White Rock Park Community Building
DESCRIPTION
The Cordova Recreation and Parks District is embarking on a major renovation to its 40-year-old White Rock Park. The existing swimming pool will be upgraded and expanded into a state-of-the-art aquatics complex. Play areas are being expanded and improved. Barbecue and picnic areas will be expanded. Lastly, the park will get a permanent recreation building to replace an outdated modular building. The new 3,484 sf building will house meeting rooms, kitchen, offices, and restrooms. There will also be a new pool building to house support spaces for the aquatic center. This project is in construction.
